The Mikron Mill P 800u ST is a unique machine combining dynamic 5-axis milling with simultaneous turning capability at up to 800rpm. The combination of milling and turning technology in a single machine achieves optimal productivity, accuracy and cost effectiveness. Being able to fully machine components on a single machine eliminates transfer-related part runout and errors and increases finished part quality.  Due to its stable construction and directly drive chilled rotary and tilt axis circular and swiveling axes, the Mikron Mill P 800 U ST can be used for anything from heavy roughing work to precise finishing work.

GFMS Mikron VCP 800​

The VCP 800 machining center is designed as a traveling machine with a moving working table. Two linear motions are carried out by the tool and one linear motion by the work piece. The machine column in polymer concrete is the base of this concept. Due to self-rigidity, long term precision accuracy is achieved without special foundation. The moving working table (X-axis) guarantees a good access to the work area. The machine base in polymer concrete carries the two axis unit includes a transversal slide (Y-axis) and the spindle slide for the Z motion. The compact construction of these elements forms the basis for the high geometric accuracy of this machining center.

By means of Vertical Focus Probing, which is an extension of Focus-Variation vertical surfaces are probed laterally as well.
